Tea Advertisement

I have always been a fan of the advertising world! The way these guys express a whole bunch of ideas in just a few words is simply amazing. Not all the ads are good though! I have found some of them to be really boring and repetitive, especially the face-wash and moisturizer ones. On the other hand, there are ad ideas which will leave you spellbound with their sheer creative power such as the ‘Fevicol’ ads. Amongst the current ones, the LMN and Vodafone ads are simply amazing.

In this blog, I will post a few ad ideas of my own, which I have thought out during times I had nothing better to do. I admit that there is every possibility that some of them might turn out to be the worst of their kind, but readers of this blog (if any) will have to forgive my indulgence. Also, if any of the ideas are currently in use, the readers may be sure that it’s an unfortunate coincidence. Plagiarism is not a hobby of yours truly.

Ok, so here follows the first one-

Product: Tea

Idea: In a typical middle class Indian family the husband returns home after a hard day at office. He drops to the sofa and sees one irritating saas-bahu serial in progress in the TV. He immediately switches to a sports channel where one cricket match was being telecast live. In the meantime, his wife returns with a cup of tea and is infuriated to find the channel changed. A heated argument ensues between husband and wife which threatens to assume gigantic proportions. In the midst of all these, both of them sip tea and the tea starts showing its magical affect. In no time, both husband and wife turn into ‘Ellahabadi’ types of ‘Pehle Aap’ variety. The husband apologizes to his wife and switches the TV back to the Saas Bahu serial. The wife, on the other hand, insists that the husband must enjoy the cricket match. While this friendly tug of war was in progress, load shedding occurs. Left with nothing to watch, the both husband and wife decide to turn the evening into a romantic one, and all because of the magical affect of the tea.
